There are over a million articles, stories, books, and lessons about staying positive. So here I am going to add my own perspective to the phrase.

I believe staying positive is as strong as having hope. I am sure we are all aware hope is one of the strongest forces on the planet. But staying positive can help provide a shield, for when negative forces arrive.

But how do you harness the power of positivity? You know, without being fake and trust me, there if fake positivity. And yes. I know bad things are bound to happen, but that shouldn’t stop you. Here is my opinion of the things you need in order to stay positive.

Your intentions have to be pure. You need a strong base the base starts within yourself. You can’t go around acting positive. You are setting yourself up for failure. The intentions of staying positive start when with you wake up. One day I woke up and had a dead battery in my car. I was late for work, and had a busy day ahead. I could have let this moment from the start effect my day or I could take control of the situation. I called a wrecker company and they sent someone to come help. Ends up, the whole battery is junk, and I was able to replace it on the spot. I get to work as fast as can and I continue to make the make the best day out of it possible. By the end of the day I had booked 3 weddings and started the proposal on 1. Intentions…. I did not let a dead battery get in the way of my day.

Remember staying positive starts from the minute you wake up.

Other ideas:
1. Write down or put it in your phone every time something positive happens.
2. You can’t control everything. Ha. Repeat that. You Can’t Control Everything.
3. Always end the day thinking about something positive.
4. You might have to remove negative people from your life. That could mean family. Especially if they are negative and tearing you down.

Staying positive is powerful. I even believe staying positive has compounding side effects. Good things start happen, opportunities show up, and you’ll handle bad things easily.
