Our Minds are Fragile

You don’t have to search far these days for negative reactions and thoughts about pretty much anything. However. Here is your friendly reminder to avoid to many negative thoughts.

Let me first say this. It would be unrealistic to never have a negative thought throughout the day. What I’m referring to is the constant bombardment of negative thoughts, news, and attitudes.

Just watch the news for less 5 minutes these days and something will either upset you, frustrate you, or at least fill your head with something that doesn’t deserve to be there.

Our minds and mental health status are fragile. It could be the chatter around the water cool at work or FB feed. Too much negative shit, will effect your mind. I know my mind has shifted several times during this pandemic lifestyle…but I refuse to let only the “pandemic” steal my thoughts.

There are a lot of new Coronavirus and Pandemic experts out there because of the new world we live in. If you want to keep your sanity. You need to do these things.

  • Gather your own facts from reliable sources. Sometimes your co-workers or neighbor won’t have all the facts.
  • One day at a time. Today is different from yesterday, and tomorrow is already a new day
  • Eat healthy, RELAX, & sleep.
  • P.S. I’m still working on that one above.
  • It’s actually okay to be nervous, scared, or even feel uncertain in a time like this.

There is no perfect blueprint to surviving a pandemic. Except “ keep yourself safe, alive, and to see the other side of it.”

Love you all. I appreciate some of the feedback some have given me.
